Hello! We are looking for a middle-aged Chinese woman and man to cast in our student film titled Lavender Blue.
Character descriptions are as follows:
Mrs Haest – Middle-aged Chinese woman
About 30-40 years old
Ideally >165cm
Must have long hair and must be able to act youthful (like in her 20’s)
A character who is obsessed with keeping up appearances and presenting a superficial image of herself and her family.
Mr Haest – Middle-aged Chinese man
Non-speaking role > 30 years old
A character who sees a lot but says very little.
The shooting will tentatively take place on three consecutive days between 19th to 23rd December, 2020. As the production will take the full day, please make sure you are available on all of the shooting days! However, if you are interested in the role of Mr Haest, you only have to be on set for one to two days.
The auditions for this film will be carried out via zoom on the 10th and 11th of December between 10am to 3pm, and rehearsals will take place on 13th and 14th December on set. Unfortunately, we will not be able to pay you for your participation, but on both rehearsal and shooting days, food and drinks will be provided!
