SOLDIERS WANTED to create Civil War Reenactment. Seeking 100+ volunteers and paid positions to enter the trenches alongside trained reenactors as we bring the 1860s back to life with the musical Shenandoah. Beatla a part of our most immersive and epic show to date as we continue the fight for civil and human rights in 2019.
Time commitment and skill set requirements vary by position (see below). Incentive program for all volunteers and some positions include a stipend.

POSITIONS INCLUDE:
FEATURED SOLDIERS stipend and complimentary tickets provided
Participants are required at all performances, all tech rehearsals, and orientation dates. As these roles will be integral to the battle recreation, this position requires participants to handle stage weaponry and be physically agile. Participants will be featured pre and post show and possibly during the show as well.
BACKGROUND ARMY incentives provided
Participants are required at least half of the scheduled performances (at least 12 performances), all tech rehearsals (someone please confirm), and orientation. As these participants are part of the battle recreation, they need to be physically agile and able to comfortably run; however, they will not handle any weaponry. Participants will be featured pre and post show.
CIVILIANS incentives provided
Participants are only required at a performance or performances of their choosing and will serve in atmospheric roles during the pre and post shows. Improv skills are plus but not necessary

FEATURED SOLDIER TRAINING: Only a small group of performers will be required on this date.
February 24, 2019 10am-4pm
BACKGROUND ARMY TRAINING: Featured and Background Soldiers required on both dates.
March 2 & 3, 2019 10am-5pm
TECH REHEARSAL: Featured and Background Soldiers required.
March 5 – March 12, 2019 6pm-11pm
PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
Wednesdays thru Sundays, March 13th – April 14th 6pm -11pm
VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM:
Participating in one show equals one credit. Participants accrue and “bank” credits to be redeemed for a combination of the offers listed below equal to or less than the total amount accrued. Credits are redeemed by emailing volunteer@serenbeplayhouse.com with requests.
1 credit=1 Serenbe Playhouse souvenir cup
2 credits=1 ticket to a performance of Pocahontas
3 credits=1 Serenbe Playhouse T-shirt or tank top
4 credits=1 ticket to either Sleepy Hollow or new Winter Holiday show
5 credits= 2 tickets to Shenandoah (pending availability)
10 credits=1 comp ticket to either Ragtime or Hair
