Brief synopsis:
Traveler searches for answers when a small town calls to her with its cold hospitality. This piece places the mood, and cinematography of a British period piece in a contemporary, Pennsylvania setting.
Roles:
Illy – itinerant, self-sufficient, women in her twenties; her resilience, clever mind, and soulful vulnerability are a striking combination
Ms. Greenbaum – poised, self-assured professional, well-established in her legal practice; her class and style are beyond questioning
Martha – open-hearted, life-loving, will-o’-the-wisp, whose lightheartedness is only rivaled by her guilelessness
