DESCRIPTION: A 20-something man named Joaquin, a punk with a lone-wolf attitude, is tempted to compromise his authenticity when he becomes enamored with a man from the tech world named Jim. In attempts to connect with Jim, the punk joins the same elite tennis club. Rather than achieving the connection he’d hoped for with Jim, Joaquin instead finds an unexpected lesson in a new friendship.

ROLES:
JOAQUIN: LEAD, male, early to late 20s, any race, a timid, gentle person with anarchistic ideals. Despite being shy and self-conscious, he also does not usually compromise who is for the sake of others’ opinions. He is a person who tries to follow his passion and forego excessive consumer or capitalistic comforts in favor of authenticity. Nudity: briefly shirtless.
JIM: SUPPORTING, male, late 20s, early 30s, a handsome, proud man. His possessions and the people he surrounds himself with are consciously selected to further an image he wants to present for himself. He is upcoming-and-coming wealthy… self-made (something that sometimes gets to his head). He has simple but important values: his job, his girlfriend Alex, and his family. Nudity: None.
ALEX: SUPPORTING, female, An outwardly steadfast personality. She is beautiful and knows it. Often resilient to adversity, she has a short temper and is used to getting what she wants, but can be kind to those she feels deserve it. She has a passion for tennis, and has gained experience through self-teaching. Nudity: None
“Old Man”: SUPPORTING, male, 50s to 60s, someone who has taken his past and learned from it. In his former years, he was angry and tormented, but is now both kind-hearted and generous. One of the most important tools he developed in age, though, was empathy, which he greatly feels for Joaquin (the main character). He is driven with a need to help someone in a way he once was not. Nudity: None.

We are holding auditions on June 29th, 2019, and June 30th, 2019 and can schedule such auditions through email communication.
PAY/PERKS: There will be a base payment, a maximum of 80 dollars a day. Food, drink, etc. will be supplied daily and snacks provided throughout course of shooting days. Transportation is also an available amenity for those who require it.
