Paid extras in the Duluth, Georgia area for “Heels.”
The Starz Network wrestling television series “Heels” is currently in production of the new season and is looking for folks around the Duluth area of Georgia who would like to work on set as paid background actors. The show is set around the sport of professional wrestling and has been needing hundreds of area locals to fill up seats in scenes that involve wrestling matches.
Please note that the casting notice is for extras only and you should live in the area in order to be considered.
“Heels” premiered in the summer of 2021 on Starz and was a popular enough show to get renewed for a second season. In wrestling, heel is a term that describes what you may not want to be. The show stars Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig as wrestlers.
According to Deadline, Heels revolves around the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small-town pro wrestling. Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals (Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig) war over their late father’s legacy. In the ring, somebody must play the good guy and somebody must play their nemesis, the heel. But in the real world, those characters can be hard to live up to — or hard to leave behind.
