The Healing You Can Do is a children’s book for the inner child of Survivors of all ages. The beautifully fully illustrated message will remind you every time you open the pages that no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve experienced… you are beautiful exactly as you are, you are stronger than you know, and you are capable of changing the world, for good.

The Healing You Can Do has received rave reviews from children age 3 and up to the nearly 100. The message is powerful for those with backgrounds of abuse (sexual, physical, verbal, spiritual, domestic), Grief, Loss, Divorce, Cancer and all other hardships that can leave someone feeling lost, fearful and in pain. THYCD message is a powerful one for anyone who is seeking healing, clarity and asking the question: “What is my purpose through this?”

No one is more powerful than a trauma survivor, and THYCD speaks so many of the words that I needed to hear, as I was surviving my story, and now it is my joy and honor to share this message with other survivors, and those that love them.

“Just keep my promise in mind: Remember all the healing you can do, for yourself, those you love and the entire world too. All because that hurting someone hurt you. You are a priceless miracle, amazing and so strong. You have the power to change the world, little one.”

This book changes everything for a Trauma Survivor

“Just a few weeks ago I had the honor to meet the author of this book - an incredible woman @wildish_way_rebirth - who has quickly entered into my circle of friends. Her book - like her - is brave, raw and honest - but also, sadly, necessary. Research tells us that at least 2/3 of adults have experienced childhood trauma (likely underestimated) yet there are so few good resources out there to help us talk to children about it. In this book, I can see the inner child of so many people I love - those senselessly hurt as little children by broken adults - who daily must choose to keep stepping forward. It is a story of a mother’s love and her baby’s heartache begging to be uncovered from the heaviness of shame.

If you or someone you love is a survivor of trauma - read this book. If you are a mother, or a daughter, or a friend - read this book. Read it to your kids. Read it for yourself.

“This book has helped My Granddaughter more than I could ever express and also myself as a Survivor... She went through such heartbreak and blaming herself... She felt like she was by herself and that no one else went through what she did... Well this book helped her realize she’s not alone and that she can get through anything... I ordered 2 books and I’ve taken one to my granddaughters School in hopes that it reaches another child... Thank you Meghan for helping us be able to do that ❤️ Your bravery has helped and will continue to help more people then you’ll ever know....

“I highly recommend this book! It’s literally infused with power, inspiration and encouragement as if every word is carried on the wings of angels. I am a thriver of past trauma and used to be filled with shame. Even though I overcame that, I stil wasn’t quite sure how to move forward in my newfound healing. I found this book to be exactly what I needed. I pray the same will be true for you!”

“It can be hard to turn pain into beauty and power rather than buring it or allowing it to come out as anything other than a series of facts that we hope helps someone else. Meghan’s words are exactly what someone who is hurting or someone whose hurt is buried deep needs to hear and the feelings that Katie’s illustrations elicit speak more than words. Thank you, Meghan from teh bottom of my heart for bearing the burden to spread light and love to others who are healing as well.”

“I absolutely love this book as an adult. I feel like this speaks to my inner challenge in such an honest, acknowledging, healing, and loving way. I can imagine this book would be great for survivors of traumas including children, and teens. I’m shocked though how it appealed to my inner child... it’s not what i expected and I’m so grateful to have this to read as a reminder to point to our true selves. The pure and innocent before there was pain. I also love how it teaches compassion for others and yourself, but to recognize what isn’t ok.. and that you break cycles of pain with your bravery and healing. This book is remarkably encouraging. I can’t wait to share with friends!

“This book has been such a gift to my school. [It] is about the inherent worth that all people have when they are born and that every child is worthy of love, belonging and protection. Children experiencing trauma of any kind need this book as a resource and all children benefit greatly from hearing this message of hope and protection. I have read this book to individual students and to classrooms and all children love this story but I can see a light in the eyes of those who have experienced or are experiencing trauma. This book helps these students understand their worth and know that things will get better. I am so blessed to be able to share this wonderful book with my school! I highly recommend it!!!
