Clarifying you audience and content! The writing should speak for itself. The content and style, genre of writing is what sales the story, the book......hmmmmmm
Ok. Better Business Card is not the strategy. Just write something that will be unique and exciting to ascertain the total attention of reader. Original and unqiue....hmmmmmmm....

The reality is that the publishing industry in the US has three significant problems. 1. The books that sell have had a million dollars or more spent on their promotion. 2. Most Americans do not read an entire book in the space of one year, and sales now reflect this 3. Conventional publishers are focused on giving book deals to dubious political figures and not to those who can actually write. The outlook is therefore fairly bleak for those who seek to make a living as a novelist. This said, writers write whether their books sell a million or not. They write because they have things to say that aren't being said elsewhere. If you wish to write, then you should.
