June 22 2020The Mind MuseumTaguig City,PhilippinesClosedMarch 12 to indefiniteMetro Manila is on a lockdown with public facilities mandated to close indefinitelyAside from the public info campaign online supportive of government efforts, we also launched "Mind At Home" an online supplementary resource (videos etc) for teacher community groups now doing online learning with their students. Museum's 3D printers assigned to team member homes to make face shields for donations to hospitals. Subscription-based videos of museum exhibits tied to K-12 curriculum to be launched. We have repurposed our galleries to produce a TV show (will also be condensed as a podcast on radion AM stations) with our own Mind Movers (science communicators) as the characters. This is to broaden the reach of educ as online learning will reach only a very small percentage of Filipinos tsudents. This will be shown on television to reach audiences who do not have online access. We also designed recylable science kits which we are also now assembling and packing to be shipped to students. For in-depth "how-to's" tied to the curriculum, we are doing You-Tube channel episodes of MIND S-COOL to be accessed via subscription only.themindmuseum.org@themindmuseum@themindmuseum@themindmuseum
