Prizes:
The winner and runners-up will receive cash prizes and will be invited to attend our annual symposium.
First place: £3,000
Second place: £1,000
Third place: £1,000
We will also offer up to £500 travel expenses to help with travel to the event and meals and accommodation during the symposium dates are also covered.
The symposium will take place from Sat 6th - Tue 9th July 2024 in Tuscany, Italy.
Rules:
Open to all nationalities.
Applicants must be aged 18 or above at the time of entry.
All entries must be written in English.
Applicants must commit to using some of their prize money to attend our symposium from Sat 6th - Tue 9th July 2024 in Tuscany, Italy.
You may submit one poem or a collection of poems as long as ALL the poems in the collection speak to the theme.
There is a maximum of 500 words per entry.
There is no minimum required word count.
Submissions will be judged anonymously, so please ensure that your name does not appear anywhere on your work.
Due to the volume of applications, the judge’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into following the results.
