"Sports Investing became a part of my life in the late 1980’s after I completed playing college football. Jimmy The Greek was my favorite handicappers, because he dressed nice and his picks won. Unfortunately, I was in contact with the heavy hitters of this business and they were good at marketing but horrible at selecting winners. Needless to say, after losing so much money, I decided to shut out the others and make a dramatic change. So in the 1990’s, I started to pay attention to the things that could affect the outcome of sporting events ( weather, injuries, traveling, etc...). Bring it to the current state of sports wagering and you have so many more methods to assist with getting an advantage and I use them to the maximum (trends, analytics, personnel, etc...) and the computer has ALL this data at your fingertips.

I got into sports investing by watching my friends placing big bets just on instinct and loosing big on favorite teams, except for those who were successful in managing their bankroll and researching teams on their laptops. So I started to do that too. I spent big money on self-development, getting mentored by Natalie Leudwell and a saying came to mind: if these sportsters are making big money, so can I!
Then I searched google and that's when Zcode came up. I am a strong believer in history repeating itself and since being on zcode, I starting to create ways to help people win. I am not saying I am a professional but I won’t stop until I succeed. I am not the kind of person who sits back, I won’t. My goal in life is to help people realize that anything is possible within reason.

I began my journey into sports investing in August 2018. Historically I was always a poker player, but I also discovered craps which became my game of choice until the World Cup Upset of 2018. Growing up, I always played every sport possible including basketball, football, baseball, and my favorite, Golf. Only working at golf clubs growing up, it was still my passion. Later, I moved south and focused solely on work and golf, hoping to go to Q school, until 2018 when I found sports investing and it became a passion. I was drawn in mostly by the sports and ability to apply my knowledge of reading markets and determining what factors in real life are correlated to number movements.
When I first began investing, I did ok with my knowledge of sports until luck ran out and realized I was doing everything wrong like late market reading, chasing losses, and not maintaining anything resembling BR mgmt. I found myself in the endless hamster wheel of professional sports handicappers, until I realized that I was always late and catching their regression streaks by hopping around from handicapper to handicapper. It wasn't until one day I vowed to maintain discipline in wagering and decided that I can do what they were doing as well, if not better. While searching the web for any tools at my disposal, I came across the Zcode LR tool and eventually came to the conclusion that if someone is offering that among the other tools for free, then what comes along with joining the community would be worth it's weight in gold, if leveraged properly in my trading. And so, here I am!
I joined Zcode officially in September 2020 and haven't regretted it one day since. The comradery and knowledge that is shared amongst members has accelerated my growth tenfold and set me on a path of opportunity and success. With only a few months of actual "handicapping" under my own belt, I can feel things trending in the right direction and hope to continue learning from our most valuable and distinguished members (they know who they are). I've messed around with sports-betting for years but never took it seriously. I would make bets for a couple of months, get burned, blame Vegas for taking my $100 and then quit. I decided that, before I get back into sports, I needed to have the financial aspect of my life taken care of. I got a job as a Cloud Engineer, and now I work from anywhere in the world that has internet. This has given me the time to study sports, and it gave me to freedom to create my own model for NBA.
I've been constantly tweaking it as the season progresses with the hope that I can fully launch it for the 2022-2023 season. Finding ZCode has been a blessing. Between all the insights from other experts and the data from their tools, I can make more educated decisions with my picks. I don't have plans to become a full-time sports investor. My goal is to constantly progress my skills and win long-term. I used to want parlays every day, and now I aim for 60% every month.
