5. Creating a Culture of Conversation, Transparency and Healing with Elsie Ayotunde Cullen PowerUp!

    • Self-Improvement

Content to Consider: For anyone processing trauma, we always aim to engage thoughtfully and with compassion. We want to empower you to choose whether you listen to this episode or not, and let you know that in this episode we’re talking about being survivors, about abuse, exploitation and also trauma. If you are affected by anything discussed in this episode, we have provided links to organisations you may find helpful in the show notes.

This week we pull Adinkra Affirmation cards for you (and us) with the incredible Elsie Ayotunde Cullen for the upcoming month of March - wait ‘til you hear the cards we pulled! And we speak with her about her mission to create a culture of conversation and transparency.

Elsie Ayotunde Cullen is a creative, ICU nurse and community curator. She is also currently studying her Masters at LSE in Health and International Development, whilst working part time at the hospital and on her various community projects. Elsie is the founder of 'ourppls', a community interest company (CIC) focusing on connecting creativity with community. Our PPLs also house two off-shoots, Our Early Years, which is a platform dedicated to fusing creativity, culture and heritage;  and Our Social Therapy, which aims to raise awareness on topics surrounding trauma, healing and safeguarding.
