Chart calculation can be pretty daunting. This course helps make it easier by combining reading, live lectures, and group practice sessions.

There is a trade-off in having the benefit of computers to calculate and construct an astrological chart. This guided independent study course gives students a deeper understanding of how the chart relates to the movements of the earth and sky, which aids chart interpretation.

The first portion of this course covers the process of calculating a natal chart. Students will learn to calculate charts from time zones around the world, as well as in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The second portion of the course adds additional calculation techniques, including the lots.

The course is organized for independent self-study and with live meetings during the term for students to directly ask questions and go over the material. Students can also request 1-hour of private tutoring.

Use this course if you intend to take the organizational exams, complete the Professional Diploma, or simply want to know more about how a chart is actually calculated. You may find it helpful to complete E400 Astronomy for Astrologers before taking this course.
