Twitter bans account of Steve Bannon’s online show after call to behead Fauci

.

Twitter banned an account affiliated with Steve Bannon after he said he would like to see Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray beheaded.

President Trump should fire Wray and Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Bannon said, adding that he most desired a return to the “old times of Tudor England” and to put their “heads on pikes” as a “warning to federal bureaucrats.”

“The @WarRoomPandemic account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our policy on the glorification of violence,” a Twitter spokesman told NBC News in a statement.

YouTube also said it removed the video on its platform and gave the account a “strike,” three of which amount to the company permanently terminating the account. One strike prevents the account from posting new videos for one week.

“We’ve removed this video for violating our policy against inciting violence. We will continue to be vigilant as we enforce our policies in the post-election period,” said YouTube spokesman Alex Joseph.
