Auditions for Lead Roles in Disney Movie “Timmy Failure”

Disney movie auditions for kids 9 to 12, both boys and girls.

A new Disney talent search is on for an upcoming Disney Pictures project titled “Timmy Failure.”

The casting search is on in southern states for now and auditions are being held in the New Orleans and  Baton Rouge Louisiana  area in the next few weeks. The Disney auditions will be by appointment only and parents wishing to submit their kids may follow the instructions below to get their kid’s pictures and information directly to the casting directors.  No acting experience or showbiz experience is needed.  The movie is expected to film around the New Orleans area.

According to the Baton Rouge news site WAFB, Disney’s Department of Motion Pictures is looking for children ages 9-12 of any gender or ethnicity.  Disney’s Timmy Failure is looking to cast its lead role along with casting kids to fill various supporting roles.  Experience is not needed to be considered to audition for the Disney movie and the casting team is specifically looking for kids that have never acted before.

The Timmy Failure movie is based on the kid’s book series written by author, Stephen Pastis.  In the book series, a boy named Timmy Failure runs a detective agency with his polar bear Total. Timmy is a funny kid with a great deal of self-confidence.  Timmy is the president and CEO of Failure Inc. with Total the polar bear acting as his partner and accountant.  The cast of characters also includes his buddy Rollo, Molly who smells like tangerines and seems to ruin everything as well as Corrina Corrina, the enemy of everything good.

“My name is Failure. Timmy Failure. I am the founder, President and CEO of the best detective agency in town, probably in the world. Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is a historical record of my life as a detective. It has been rigorously fact-checked. All the drawings in here are by me. I tried to get my business partner to do the illustrations, but they were not good.”

The WAFB story also mentions that the Disney project is looking for… Kids with unconventional looks, incredible intelligence, and who see life through their own lens and will happily speak about whatever they believe to be true are especially desired. The department is looking to cast a kid who marches to the beat of their own drum.
