Homeland is now filming the new season and is looking for some NYC area talent.
New York’s GWC, is seeking to fill some non-speaking, extras roles.
“Homeland” airs on Showtime and according to Showtime, the edge-of-your-seat show focuses on CIA officer Carrie Mathison, played by Claire Danes. Mathison is at the top of her field but is also bipolar, making her quite unpredictable. Mandy Patinkin plays Saul Berenson, her long-time mentor. With his help, Carrie Mathison will risk everything when not only her fate, but also the fate of the nation is at stake.
The thriller begins when Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody returns home following eight years in captivity, CIA agent Carrie Mathison thinks he has turned and is connected to a terror plot to be carried out on American soil, and she engages him in a dangerous game of cat and mouse that puts America’s national security at risk. Later, Carrie is assigned to one of the CIA’s most volatile and dangerous stations in the Middle East, where she is in the heart of battle in the war on terror. Carrie eventually becomes estranged from the CIA. HOMELAND season five picks up two years after Carrie Mathison’s (Claire Danes) ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the “war on terror,” Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working as the head of security for a German philanthropist.
The series is now in it’s 6th season. “Homeland” stars Emmy Nominee Claire Danes, Emmy nominee Rupert Friend, Oscar winner and Emmy nominee F. Murray Abraham, Sebastian Koch, Screen Actors Guild winner Miranda Otto, Alexander Fehling, Sarah Sokolovic, and Emmy and Tony® winner Mandy Patinkin. According to a Deadline report, Showtime is looking to pickup the drama series for 3 more seasons, starting with the already picked up upcoming sixth season, whose premiere has been pushed to January 2017. “Homeland” Star Claire Danes and showrunner Alex Gansa are both set for Seasons 6, 7 and 8.

NON UNION – Caucasian Men and Women to portray right wing conservative protesters for background work on WEDNESDAY 2/22 (filming in Manhattan) and/or SUNDAY 2/26 (filming in Brooklyn).
