Get cast as an extra in the Nancy Drew movie.
Nancy Drew is coming back to the movies and maybe even, TV. A reboot of Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase is now in production in Georgia and Central is looking to cast folks local to the Monroe area to fill various small, non-speaking roles in the project.
Currently, they are only seeking to cast those that live in the Monroe area and are able to get to set in Monroe or Social Circle on short notice. Monroe, Georgia is about 45 minutes away from the Atlanta area.
Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase is the second book in the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories series written by Carolyn Keene, a pseudonym. The book was originally published in 1930 and written by Mildred Wirt Benson. In 1939, Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase was adapted by Warner Bros. as a movie. Seems that Warner Bros. is bringing it back. There is also talk of a Nancy Drew TV show. According to an older story in Variety, A “Nancy Drew” TV series may be in the works as well.
Starring as the Title character of Nancy Drew is Sophia Lillis (IT). If Warner Bros. is possibly starting a movie franchise with Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, they will have lots of material. Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase is only the second book of the 175 book “Nancy Drew” series. According to Deadline, Sophia Lillis plays the curious detective in the upcoming movie that will have Nancy drew investigating odd occurrences in a potentially haunted house.
The Nancy Drew character was created by publisher Edward Stratemeyer to go along with the Hardy Boys book series. Ellen DeGeneres is also attached to the project as a producer and Wendy Williams is executive producing.

JOGGER: Female, any ethnicity, looks 20’s – 30’s age range, must be physically fit and able to jog, must have athletic attire, no big logos, no visible tattoos. TEENAGERS: Males and Females, any ethnicity, must be at least 18 years of age or older, but LOOK under the age of 18. This works Thursday May 24th and Friday May 25th in the Monroe area. You MUST look young enough to be in high school, and have young looking attire. You must be fully registered with Central Casting in order to submit, or must be able to come to our office in downtown Atlanta and register before the work date. If you are selected to work, a Central Casting representative will contact you. If you are not selected for these categories, there will be plenty of other opportunities to work on this film.
