Singers and Vocal Percussionist Wanted.

A small, mixed-voice, semi-professional a cappella group based in the Loop is looking for Soprano, Alto, Bass, Beat boxer and vocal percussionist.
Preferred background:
• Experience singing a cappella is ideal, but history with a choir or band is great, too!
• If auditioning as a singer, music-reading ability is a huge plus
• Dedicated and dependable—available for regular rehearsals and periodic gigs
About the group:
- We are two singers (tenor and alto/soprano) who co-formed and directed a 6-person semi-professional a cappella group in Seattle, performing regularly and placing as finalists in two nationwide a cappella competitions. We work full-time in non-music jobs, but we are serious about singing and we make music a priority in our day-to-day lives—we’re looking to have a blast singing with others who feel the same!
- Rehearsals will be held in the loop (easily CTA-accessible), 1-2 times per week
- Goal is to function as a semi-professional group, singing at paid and unpaid gigs and in competitions

- Record a video of yourself singing a verse and a chorus of a song—rock, pop, R&B, folk, country, blues, etc., but please not a classical piece—and upload your video to YouTube (private or public, your choice). Email us with a link to your video
- We will notify you if we’d like you to come in for an in-person callback
- Please submit the link to your video by October 15, 2016, and include in your reply an email address where we can reach you
