The singing competition will hold auditions in the U.S. to be a contestant on the show and win a round-trip to China to compete in the finals. We will be having auditions in Los Angeles (March 4th), Houston (March 31) and New York (April 7). If someone cannot attend the audition in person with the director we can accept video submissions. All of the information is included on the application for how to submit a video submission.
To be considered for the competition the person must be fluent in Chinese and legally 16 years old! No exceptions can be made on these requirements.
The contestant auditioning will be asked to perform three popular songs including 2 Chinese songs and your own version is acceptable. Since the winner will be flown to China and the show will be in Chinese you must be fluent. The audition is open to all ethnicities as long as the person is fluent in Chinese!
