Get cast in the Rock’s new action / monster movie.
The Rock AKA Dwayne Johnson is working on his new movie Rampage in the Atlanta area and the film’s casting team is now looking for locals who would love to work as paid background actors on set. Atlanta area casting directors with Tammy Smith Casting are looking for both kids and adults to work as extras in scenes that are filming next week.
According to reports, “Rampage” is an action packed flick based on the popular Midway video game of the same name, Rampage. Rampage stars Dwayne Johnson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Marley Shelton, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Naomie Harris, Jake Lacy, Jack Quaid, Breanne Hill, Matt Gerald, P.J. Byrne, Levi Bowling, and Allyssa Brooke.
Dwayne Johnson has teamed up with Brad Peyton once again. The pair worked together in 2015’s San Andreas. According to the film’s IMDB page, the film will be a monster movie in which Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays a Primatologist who is faced with a group of monsters that are intent on pretty much destroying everything in their path.
In the film, Davis Okoye shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
In an interview, Brad Peyton commented on the film by saying that he will be taking a less cartoon and more horror course with the film. Peyton is directing the Rampage movie which will be executive produced by Jeffrey Fierson, Dany Garcia, and Brad Peyton. Dwayne Johnson, is alse serving as a producer on the project along with John Rickard, Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia.
The movie has been filming in the Atlanta area for some weeks now and is still looking for more locals available to work on set this month.
There are actually quite a few big budget movies filming in the Atlanta area currently that are also looking for paid movie extras.
Rampage will be hitting theaters on April 20th, 2018.
