Warner Bros.’s upcoming Melissa McCarthy comedy is now filming in Atlanta and casting many small roles.
The projects’s extras casting team at CL has just released a casting notice for area locals. The movie is casting multi day bookings and extras roles.
McCarthy is working on the new project with her spouse, Ben Falcone. Melissa McCarthy (“Ghost Busters“, “Identity Thief”) stars in the film and Ben Falcone is directing the project. The pair also worked together on “The Boss” and “Tammy” where they has a similar arrangement. “Tammy” was another New Line film and was a huge success for the film company having been made on a $19 million budget and grossing over $100 million at the box office.
According to the movie’s IMDB page, also cast in “Life of the Party” are Gillian Jacobs Gillian Jacobs. Debby Ryan, Maya Rudolph, Molly Gordon, Jacki Weaver and Jessie Ennis. The film’s IMDB page neglects to list any kind of plot description stating that details are being kept under wraps.
“Life of the Party” films this summer and is set for a summer 2018 release date of May 11th which is just a week after the highly anticipated “Avengers” movie, Disney / Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War Part I” (which is also casting in Atlanta at the moment.)
