There is a casting call out in the Memphis, TN area for the upcoming CMT mini series “Million Dollar Quartet.”
The miniseries is in production in the Memphis area and is now casting locals who would like to work as paid background actors on the set. The show has a few upcoming scenes that will be needing background actors for an upcoming scene. The scenes will be filming this week and On Location Casting is now accepting submissions for the roles listed below.
According to a press release, The series will focus on the musicians’ rapid rise to fame during a time of political change and social unrest. “Million Dollar Quartet” is a Tony Award-winning musical based on the recording sessions that featured Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. CMT will be making an 8 part mini-series that will air on CMT later in 2016.

Short fingernails only – no acrylics or obviously fake nails. NO visible tattoos (especially on arms or neck/chest) and NO piercings! MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH SEXUAL CONTENT!! In this scene you will be taken behind a curtain and will be caught with your hand down the pants of ‘Jerry Lee Lewis’. There will most likely be NO nudity, but you should be comfortable with possibly having your blouse unbuttoned and being with a lead actor who has his pants unzipped/pulled down. This will require a self-tape video audition so that we can see you are comfortable acting out a scene of this type.
MUST be 100% confortable with being in a scene with implied sexual activity and content!!
