Extras Call in Savannah for “The Birth of a Nation (The Nat Turner Rebellion)”

A new film about the Nat Turner Rebellion is now in production in the Savannah area.

The film is seeking talent to fill a variety of small roles including a few featured roles. There are  different casting notices listed below, please note that the different roles may require different information, and may have different submission email addresses.

The film is based on the Nat Turner rebellion of 1831 in which Turner and his group of rebel slaves rose up killing over 50 people in the Virginia area, the most people ever killed in a slave uprising. The rebels were eventually caught but Nat Turner escaped and survived for a few months. Following the rebellion, militias organized in retaliation. The militias and mobs killed and punished 100’s of slaves that may have had nothing to do with the rebellion.

According to a report in Variety, Armie Hammer has joined the cast of historical drama “The Birth of a Nation.”  Nate Parker wrote the script, will star and will also make his directorial debut in the project. Also starring in the Nat Turner biopic are Ara Naomi King (“How to Get Away With Murder”), Gabrielle Union, Aunjanue Ellis, Colman Domingo, Dwight Henry, and Roger Guenveur Smith.

I am interested in submitting a song for the movie sound track, and I have been diligently searching for the proper submittal process. Where in fact is the proper avenue for composition submissions?
