Seeking individuals with a STORY to tell! Looking for people with stories of overcoming adversity (in the past or presently). We are specifically looking for stories with a positive message. We are looking for REAL PEOPLE, our casting will be based on your story rather than looks or demographics.
This is for a music video for an award-winning artist in two parts:
A short-form music video that you will be featured in
A long-form music video/short documentary in which you and your story will be featured
This is not a paid opportunity, but you will have a chance to tell your story to a wide audience from the comfort of a supportive environment. You will also receive an IMDB credit and the video will be shared on multiple social media platforms, including the artist’s Facebook, Twitter, and website which has received over 7 million hits. Our director has had videos placed on both MTV and VH1 and the artist is an award-winning songwriter and performer whose videos have aired on MTV, VH1, FUSE and more. She has had #1 and Top 10 charting songs across the world and this video is for a new forthcoming single.
Self tape auditions are fine. Please send to geministation@gmail.com with a preview of your story. We will be conducting in-person interviews/auditions ASAP. Call-backs and filming will take place in Los Angeles within the next month.
This video is meant to propagate a message of extreme respect, encouragement, realism, and inspiration as well as hope. We want you to feel encouraged and brave as you share your story with the world.
