Shoots Nov. 27-Dec. 3 in various locations around the L.A. area including CBS Backlot, Torrance High School, Dockweiler Beach, CA.
Roles:
RAY – Black male 16~25, mischievous leader of a group of teens who are protective of their community; he has never had a girlfriend, but meets a girl and falls in love “at-first-sight”.
JULIA – Hispanic female 16~25, innocent teen; hides a dark secret when she falls in love with someone from the wrong side of town.
JUAN – Hispanic male 35~50, father of Julia; owns local bodega; dislikes interracial relationships; strict, hard-working family man who feels he is living the American Dream.
PEDRO – Hispanic male 16~25, street-wise gang member; works for Juan; adults think he is a good, upstanding kid, but he is a local gang member who is obsessed with Julia.
