I LOVED this book and once again these amazing authors outdid themselves. Sara Kellan is recently divorced. She sold her home and has decided to take a long road trip with her two small kids to the place her grandmother loved when she was a teenager. Austin Stone recently left the military. He has been unsettled since his returned but upon finding out he had inherited the B & B his grandparents owned in Whisper Lake, he decides to visit the place. Little did he know that the woman and kids he met at a gas station, would change his life forever. It’s a story about trusting your heart to someone else, about family, hope, taking risks and second chances in love. The plot was engaging, and touching, with some twists and turns. The characters complex and well developed, and the town of Whisper Lake is one I would love to visit in real life. Another great story in this entertaining series. Looking forward to the next one. I really enjoyed Sara and Austin in Whisper of Temptation. This book was written by the amazing sister team Melanie Shawn and is the fourth book in their Whisper Lake Romance series. Sara Kellen is a recently divorced mother of two youngsters (Trevor and Charlotte), While packing up the house, Sara encounters a picture of her grandma Betty in front of a Ferris Wheel in Whisper Lake. So before moving to be closer to her family, Sara decides to visit Whisper Lake and see if it’s as magical as her grandma Betty thought it was. After leaving the marines, Austin Stone finds his fiancé 6 months pregnant by his best friend. Not sure what to do next, Austin visits his cousins, the Briggs, in Wishing Well, Texas before returning to Whisper Lake to take care of the B & B left to him after the death of his grandparents. Sara encounters Austin when she first arrives in Whisper Lake and just looking at each other they feel a connection. Sara finds her way to the B & B where her Grandma Betty stayed, only to discover it is owned by Austin. During her week stay in Whisper Lake Sara and Austin discover that it is possible to fall in love at first sight. Sara decides to stay in Whisper Lake, marry Austin, and live their HEA. It didn’t hurt that Trevor and Charlotte also loved Austin and the two had made friends while there. Melanie Shawn wrote a wonderfully moving story filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters that is not to be missed. I highly recommend this book to other readers and look forward to the next story in the Whisper Lake series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

OMGoodness, Austin is a total dream. Any man that is instantly protective (in a good way) over a woman and her kids has my vote. After being wounded in the military, coming home to a cheating fiancée and then spending months with family, Austin decides it’s time to head back to Whisper Lake. Whisper Lake is home to the B&B that Austin’s grandparents owned, which after their deaths he is now owner of. Sara and her two children have come to Whisper Lake for vacation, to experience the magic that her grandmother experienced when she was there years prior. Sara’s grandmother had talked so highly of Whisper Lake, so after her death Sara wanted to go see it for herself. This story is so sweet and romantic. You will melt at the way Austin caters to Sara and her children. Don’t worry there is plenty of steam to go along with the romance. A must read.
