Houston residents, get ready for a con filled with pop culture, comics, fantasy, gaming, literature, and family fun entertainment for all ages! Space City Comic Con is taking place May 27-29, 2016 at the NRG Center, 8309 Fannin Street, Houston, TX.

This star studded convention includes guest actors Charlie Hunnam, Ryan Hurst, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Emilio Rivera (Sons of Anarchy), Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), William Shatner (Star Trek), Colin Baker, Alex Kingston, and Billie Piper (Doctor Who), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy), Eve Myles (Torchwood), Jason David Frank (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), Jacob Vargas (The 33), Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones), Cody Saintgnue (Teen Wolf), Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and many, many more.

Comic creators attending are Darryl "DMC" McDaniels (Darryl Makes Comics), Arthur Suydam (Marvel Zombies), Gerardo Sandoval (New Avengers), Liam Sharp (Death's Head II), Joe Rubenstein (The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe), Joe Jusko (Marvel Masterpieces), Eddy Barrows (Action Comics), Thomas Zahler (Raider: From the Shadows), Aaron Lopresti (Captain Marvel), Matt Frank (Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters), David Baron (JLA, 52), and Tyler Boss (Baby Teeth).

Video gaming fans should make sure to check out the Supercon 2k Series, allowing gamers the chance to explore all aspects of the video gaming industry and beyond. Those looking to unwind should head over to Farscape's Virginia Hey guided de-stress mediation classes, on Sunday, May 29 for only $50 per person. Or show off your cosplay skills to win fun prizes during the Space City Comic Con Cosplay Contest!

The con runs Friday 12 PM to 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. While the gaming runs Friday 12 PM to 12 AM, Saturday 10 AM to 12 AM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

General admission for a three-day weekend pass is $75, Friday is $30 ($20 for kids 11-17), Saturday is $40 ($30 for kids), and Sunday is $30 ($20 for kids). There are also VIP packages available, and tickets for children under 10 are only $10.
