Father’s Day weekend is going to be lots of fun at Northeast Comic Con and Collectibles Extravaganza (NECC). The con will run June 18-19, 2016 at the Shriner’s Auditorium, 99 Fordham Road, Wilmington, MA.

There will be 150 vendors with vintage and modern toys, comics, collectibles, art, jewelry, apparel, and more. The con will host free play video game arcade and tournaments as well as a Starship Horizons Bridge Simulator. The NECC K!DZ area will have children’s activities featuring creative events, education, and attractions.

They will be giving out a limited edition Marvel Star Wars The Force Awakens comic book with NECC variant art autographed by cover artist Siya Oum.

Media guests are Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show), Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees), James Tolkan (Back to the Future), Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Jon Walmsley (The Waltons), Kathy Garver (Family Affair), Jeff Kline (executive producer Transformers – Robots in Disguise), Rob Bruce (Comic Book Men), Bill Diamond (puppeteer Little Shop of Horrors), and Noel MacNeal (puppeteer The Muppets)

Art guests are Cal Schenklel (Frank Zappa album cover artist), Philo Barnhart (Disney’s Little Mermaid), Joe St. Pierre (Spider-Man 2099), Alex Simmons (Archie), Rusty Gilligan (Heavy Metal), Lawrence Elig (toy designer), Steve LaVign (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Charles Moisant (Whispers from the Void).

The advance weekend adult pass is $25 and child pass is $12, Saturday adult pass is $18 and child pass is $8, and Sunday adult pass is $10 and child pass is $10.

The show runs Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM.
