I have laid out my voting philosophy and clearly understand that no matter who wins tonight, we (European Americans) lose.
Even so, as a political talk radio host, I cannot help but appreciate the sheer entertainment value generated by a presidential election. I’ll enjoy watching the coverage tonight and talking about it on my show this weekend. It’s a sideshow.
When it comes to the duopoly’s candidates (Obama and Romney), I will find some solace regardless of the outcome.
If Romney wins I’ll draw pleasure from watching the wailing and gnashing of teeth that will come from the establishment media.
If Obama wins I’ll have some delight knowing that the groveling and apologetic Republicans got what they deserved.
In the end, neither of those two “deserve” to win.
