Earlier this month I shared with you that we had a rather unique opportunity to partner with a professional public relations firm that had pledged to help us further our message, for a price, without asking us to sacrifice any of our heartfelt positions. However, our second quarter fundraising drive isn’t on track to bring enough in to allow us to explore this opportunity. Perhaps it just wasn’t meant to be at this time. I’m ok with that.
However, I am quite concerned that we will not even be able to meet our modest operating expenses. With a deadline fast approaching on Sunday we are still over $1000 short of hitting the mark. We cannot afford to come up short. We must remain financially viable.
Thanks to a few plugs by national news reports in recent months in addition to the sterling weekly product we deliver, our radio audience continues to grow and traffic to our handsomely remodeled website has increased exponentially. We cast a rather large shadow and many people are listening. Even so, our current appeal, if not buoyed in the couple of days, is on pace to deliver our smallest return since 2010.
I have long felt that European Americans deserve to have at least one professional voice in the mainstream media. We provide it. We rely on your support to continue to do so.
