Erie Canal book takes readers down ‘The Psychic Highway’

ALBION — The history of the Erie Canal may be well-documented in hundreds — if not, thousands — of books and multiple museums along the man-made waterway, but a Rochester author is shining light on a different aspect of it with his newest offering.

Michael T. Keene of Pittsford self-published “The Psychic Highway: How the Erie Canal Changed America” recently and is headed to Albion to discuss it. He will present a discussion of the book at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoag Library, 134 South Main St.
