Since 2013, James has partered with AiM Sports (in the US) and more recently AiM Technologies (in the UK) to help drivers understand how to get the most out of their AiM hardware devices and the race data they capture.

In 2024, James will continue to produce videos on his YouTube Channel covering a variety of topics ranging from the new Race Studio Analysis 3 software to configuring AiM hardware. In addition, James will curate and deliver content for the AiM Academy with free webinars and product reviews working in parntership with AiM Shop.

CONFIGURING YOUR AIM HARDWARE

These video tutorials are designed to help those using the AiM hardware determine how to configure their personal setup. These tutorials focus on AiM hardware such as the AiM Solo 2, AiM SmartyCams and AiM dashes and loggers.

AIM RACE STUDIO 3

These videos are designed to help you with the AiM Race Studio 3 software. This software encompasses everyting related to setting up your devices, downloading data, ensuring track maps are available on devices and more. Note this isn’t for Data Analyisis (see above).

If you are more comfortable using the legacy AiM software (the older Race Studio 2 Analysis) then this playlist is for you. Comprising of tutorials that date back to 2013, this playlist covers aspects of data analysis for devices from the original AiM Solo and beyond.

USING AIM AND IRACING

In the Spring of 2020 AiM released a feature allowing SIM racers using iRacing (as well as other titles) to manage their data in the Race Studio 2 Analysis Software. These videos are look at how to download, manage and configure your iRacing data in the AiM program.

For those using iRacing, the following calculator is designed to help with creating a track map with the same sectors that match those at each iRacing track.

These videos focus on topics that are relavent to data analysis but not specific to any type of product or software. The idea of these is to talk about the key and interesting topics associated with racing and how data can improve your overall experience.
